(a pdf document) To view pdf documents, you must  

    I )first have the right browser:  Netscape 7.2,  not the newer Netscape Browser 8.

    II ) download the  Adobe Acrobat Reader from www.adobe.com    Then,    1) make a copy of the Reader's nppdf32.dll in the "Browser" folder within Acrobat 6.01's  "Reader" subfolder:  double click Acrobat 6.01;  then double click "Reader;"  then " open "Browser" folder.  In it you'll find nppdf32.dll .  Make a copy of it. 
   2)  Insert
a copy of the Reader's nppdf32.dll into your netscape's plug-in folder.

    But if there is no onger any
nppdf32.dll in the "Browser" folder within Acrobat 6.01's  "Reader" subfolder,    1) the newer Netscape browsers usually has as its default application  "AcroExch."  Netscape should automaticcally open up pdf files.  If not, activate it by going to Netscape's  Edit---->   preferences   ----> select "Helper Applications.  Select in the "file types" box, the file called  "application/acroexch"  
Then, click on "OK"

2) If the newer Netscape browsers does not have as its default application "AcroExch," install your Acrobat Reader as follows: 
    1) Open up Netscape's  Edit---->   preferences   ----> select "Helper Applications----> click 
          "New types"  ------> in the box  MIME type, enter  "Application," ----> in the box  "Description", enter  "apd"   (which stands for Adobe portable document), -----> in the box  Extension: enter  "pdf "
    2) Select the line with "Open it with."  
    3) Click   "choose."
    4) Go to the file on your computer hard drive where the Adobe Reader application is located   and select it:  in Reader, select the red and white AcroRd32
    5) Click   "OK."
